My first WPPI at Vegas
Last Friday, I started my first trip to WPPI conference in vegas. I have not driven a long way by myself for a long time. The last time I had the long road trip was years back when I drove all the way to bay area from New Jersey, above 3000 miles, took me 4 and half days. This time it’s much easier, only one day. I left my house around 8:30am, arrived at Hotel around 5:30pm, the trip was quite smooth, enjoyed the beautiful landscape as well as driving.
The first two days, I was sitting in the live judging room for 2015 WPPI print competition most of the time. For each entry I saw, I gave score too before judges had the score, 90% of time I had the same range of score with the judging team. I’m so glad to know that I am on the right track. Another thing I would like to mention is that couple of outstanding works are from photographers from mainland of China, so happy for them!
Today is my third day at WPPI, attended several classes, so inspired by those Grand Masters like Yervant and Jerry! felt so grateful that I have the wonderful opportunities to learn from these Masters!
Time to bed now, need to get up early tomorrow to attend 8:30am class! sleep tight, dear!
